Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, my passion for art and nature has been nurtured from a very young age. Ever since I was a child I participated in extracurricular art classes and events around the community. I was also that huge nerd in their high school art club making props for the theatre kids and what-not. I learned to oil paint from my big bro (who has a BFA from Guelph University!) in 2014, and I’ve been hooked on the medium ever since.
I have a Bachelor of Design from York University and Sheridan College. During my time at University I was able to further my art education by taking electives such as painting, relief printing, life drawing, and screenprinting. These classes allowed me to expand my creativity, and while I focus on oil painting, printmaking will always hold a strong place in my heart.
I like to consider myself a hobby collector and when I am not painting I love to read fantasy novels, hike, forage for mushrooms, camp, garden, and brew kombucha. And the list is ever-changing and continuously getting stranger.
Have an idea for a painting? I am more than happy to create a custom painting tailored specifically to your vision. I focus on landscapes, nature, and wildlife, but I am also always up for a challenge! To inquire about a commission please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form below.
